Community Hospice Feeds Our Hospital Heroes on the Frontlines of the COVID-19 Pandemic
MODESTO, CA (August 5, 2020) – On Wednesday, August 5, 2020, Community Hospice partnered with locally-owned restaurant Greens to feed the Intensive Care Unit staff members at seven area hospitals in Stanislaus and San Joaquin Counties. Several members of the Community Hospice team delivered healthy boxed lunches to area hospitals dedicated frontline workers who continue to support local community members during the public health crisis.
“Words cannot describe our gratitude for all of the dedicated healthcare workers who continue to work on the frontlines during this public health crisis,” said C. DeSha McLeod, Community Hospice President/CEO. “It is a privilege to be able to recognize and provide a meal to those who continue to make daily sacrifices to support those severely ill with COVID-19. We believe as a community we will get through this challenging time and want our hospital heroes to know we stand behind them.”
Community Hospice is grateful to Greens owner Ann Endsley and all those that helped make this opportunity possible.
